You started off well but then went back into "us vs them" talking points. The fact is, Republicans have made GREAT strides in accepting LGB individuals, since 2004 when Karl Rove made gay marriage the cornerstone of W's reelection campaign. So you can't distill every challenge the Trans community has on Republican bigotry. It's not as single-issue as that.

Here are some things trans activists are promoting that is certainly not helping actual trans people, nor trans acceptance:

- Child surgery. This needs to end now. If a child is unable to give consent to have sex with an adult, then that child is certainly unable to give consent to have sexual amputation.

- Family court. Parents should not lose custody of their children because they disagree with an 11 year old's desire to start taking puberty blockers. Both parents have rights, and also the responsibility for the welfare of their underage children. These drugs are just not proven over time to be 100% safe. But political pressure is causing responsible parents to lose custody of their children. This is wrong.

- Disrespect for detransitioners. Having you seen some of the hate and vitriol that is sent toward detransitioners? If anybody is vulnerable, it is somebody who is detransitioning. So why is there no empathy toward them, when the whole mantra of trans acceptance is empathy?

- Child sex education. Look at the California educational curriculums. Third graders should not be taught about sexual parts, sexual acts, and other puberty issues.

- Defending sex offenders. Isla Fisher is not a woman. Yet she has been defended. Then she was no longer defended. Set a policy and be consistent about it. But defending male sex offenders who call themselves female after getting caught, is not smart.

- Sports. And not even what you think. Riley Gaines was assaulted for speaking her truth. This should not happen. I have seen nobody in the trans activism community go after their own bad apples, with the vitriol they went after Riley Gaines.

- Attacking LGB influencers and professors. The very worst hate seems to be reserved for these people, especially Lesbians. This is not helping.

I could write more but this is a start. All this adds up and makes the middle majority sick and tired of having this stuff pushed in their face 24/7. You want acceptance? Great. Stop pursuing some of these ridiculous strategies and saying the only alternative is a dystopian Christian fascism.
