You say a lot of things here and I don't agree with all of them, but I do agree with your general direction.

That said, there were many, many fatal flaws with the Democrats' thinking.

For me the point of no return was months of the Democratic Party telling us Biden was going to be the nominee, until his own people revolted then the Democratic Party told us Harris was going to be the nominee - all without ever listening to us. Dean Phillips complained about this and had his career ended as an example for all to see. Top-down intimidation at its finest.
