I don't like bigots. And it's not a black or white thing. I once stopped putting any more effort into a relationship when she said she didn't like gay people - and I could tell she meant it. "Why are you not trying, is it the gay thing?" "Yeah, it's the gay thing."

Not trying to paint myself with rose colored glasses, because we each have our biases. But I try to see people for who they are, and not where their ancestors were born.

I do think that racism and bias has existed since the dawn of civilization. Didn't the Assyrians murder people for being different? We just have the technology now to broadcast the most egregious examples.
