Yeah, I grapple with the same dichotomy.

Churchill, Dr. Seuss, and Walt Disney were well-known racists, Mahatma Gandhi was a womanizer, Steve Jobs abandoned his daughter, Che Guevara was personally cruel even toward his own colleagues, and Abraham Lincoln spoke against equality between blacks and whites. Even RBG’s words are edited and changed now because they demonstrate a hurtful perspective.

I guess certain people are meant to be in the right role, for a specific purpose, at the right time.
