For the record, I did not vote for Trump - in 2024 or ever.

I don't think rival presidential candidates were ever buddies.

Al Gore and George W. Bush certainly never hung out

Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter certainly never hung out

the only exception was Bill Clinton and George GW Bush which didn't come together until after both men left office.

Now as to Trump so far.

I don't like some of his picks. Gaetz I have long been on record as despising. And that defense pick is not much better.

But I absolutely love DOGE. I hope they permanently cut government down in a major way.

As for evidence this is more than re-installing a cult leader, look at the stock market. Job listings are going up. And working with enterprises as I do, there is near universal optimism that spending will increase next year - which benefits the entire economy.

Every single aspect about the economy, is looking better now than it was in October.

As for Trade War, we'll see. So far people seem to be shrugging it off.

As for the rest beyond economy, again we'll see. I am concerned about Trump, for a number of reasons. But again. We'll see.
