As for your parents. I am sorry your dad did not find an emotionally healthy response to cope with the situation. I'm a product of divorce as well, and actually my dad screwed over my mother. He did kind of accept the blame as such, but remained narcissistic about it all. Children have a way of eventually seeing the truth.
