Two evils don't cancel each other out.

I've known sexual assault survivors, and yes most of them never came forward to the police.

And I've known women who have been harassed by powerful (boomer...that part is important) men.

I don't know too many feminists who goes after false accusers with the enthusiasm or vitriol that they go after male accused. Who has been "cancelled" for making a false accusation? Certainly not Amber Heard.

My point is that unchecked false accusations, contribute greatly toward sustaining a culture of women not being believed.
