This is true. Nothing is ever perfect.
Jon Stewart's highlight of the DNC hypocrisy (Bernie calling for and end to Billionaires, before the Democrats' own billionaire JB Pritzker stood up to thunderous applause) is great. He's old enough he doesn't have to pander to the special interests.
I was close to the Democratic Party for some time, and in my observed experience, most people in political appointed positions don't give two shits about the people. They are just posturing for themselves and their own wealth/power.
Anytime a really and sincerely good Democrat tries to make a difference, they get chased out of the party. Stephanie Murphy was one, and I even believe Corey Booker is another. They were both savagely ripped apart.
I have very serious concerns about Donald Trump returning to office. But that does not excuse what the Democratic Party does to protect its own interests, at our expense. I am really tired of enabling them, simply because they make a big scene about how the other side is worse.
