They are both problems.

YES, we do need government regulation. I agree that runaway business runs out of hand. Amazon treatment of truck drivers is (or was?) inhumane. Facebook's complicity in fake news is a threat to Democracy. And companies selling Private Information to the highest bidder is dangerous on all kinds of levels.

Unfortunately, our government does not know how to regulate. Look at New York State and crypto. NYState politicals are not interested in actually regulating anything; they are only interested in schmoozing up into Washington D.C.

Which leads to the second problem - our government is not sufficiently accountable. This is a BIG problem - every bit as big a problem as runaway corportate power.

And you can't tell me that government is accountable to the voters, when we keep sending the same old fossils back to DC for 30-50+ years.
