There are two ways of looking at this. One, is what you just said. Two, is holding our own to task for following through on what we elected them to do.

I often complain about the Circular Firing Squad tendencies of Democrats (a great example of this is how the Democratic base rallied AGAINST Blanche Lincoln for Arkansas Senate in 2010, preferring a Republican to get elected...in Arkansas!), but there is probably truth to the fact that leftward pressure has driven a lot of Biden's direction that HAS met with liberal approval.
