The definition of race I posted, clearly said that race is defined by shared physical qualities (debatable, but let's say ok between Japanese and Chinese), shared social qualities (which are absolutely different), and groups generally viewed as distinct within a given society (again, absolutely different).

So by this definition, which according to your post is a valid "any definition of race," Chinese and Japanese people are different races on 2 of 3 counts.

Rwanda was the same. One was bourgeoisie while the other was proletariat, and they were certainly viewed as distinct within the Rwandan society - both before the genocide due to economic imbalances, and during the genocide due to targets of the machete. Again, 2 of the 3 criteria of "race" were met.

What part of this acceptable definition of race, do you specifically disagree with, and why?
