The abortion debate is extremely complicated, with several different layers:
- Biological
- Legal
- Moral
- Religious
- Sexual
- Political
When does life biologically start? Is a fetus currently fully considered a human being? (I don't get any tax deductions for a pregnancy) Is abortion debate even about abortion? Or is it about letting the church control our sexual lives? (because we know that has happened before)
I honestly think the time to fight for abortion rights was 2000 and 2016, when greenies said in 2000 Florida there's no difference between Bush or Gore, so might as well vote Nader, and rust belt bernie bros said in 2016 they're not voting for Hillary because she's really a Republican.
