So.....I'd push back on two of your assertions:

- Amazon controls everything else.

Before it was Amazon, it was Walmart. Before Walmart, it was Microsoft. Before Microsoft, it was IBM. Before IBM, it was General Electric. Before GE, it was...I don't know, but somebody.

(Starbucks was also in there at some point)

I don't know if there is real truth here. Yes Amazon is a sweatshop, with Big Brother cameras in their trucks, and all kinds of other bad news. But 20 years from now, they will be a has-been company. Where is GE now? crumbling. Same with IBM, and Microsoft is not far behind. As soon as the founding CEO leaves, and Jeff Bezos is now retired...others will step up and eat away at Amazon's market share.

Now if you want to complain about corporate culture, and how inhuman it is, there's a lot of material there.

But the problem isn't ONE COMPANY. the problem is systemic. And saying "Amazon controls everything else" makes it seem like one dictator has to be overthrown to realize world peace.

BTW look into Saudi Arabia's Aramco. Importing workers from South Asia to work in 50+ C degree heat to build skyscrapers, pushing their bodies off of rooftops when they collapse...I'd say that is worse than anything Amazon does.
