No. If say 20 Million Europeans died to end the Third Reich, and 4 Million of those were Germans, then the fact still stands: 20 Million Europeans DID die - counting casualties on both sides.

More importantly, I don't understand why this is relevant. It doesn't matter how many "white" men died to abolish slavery. What's important is that there was a civil war, and in the end slavery was abolished.

I was taught US History three times in school growing up, and...yes it was pointed out that hundreds of thousands of Confederates took up arms, and died to protect their slave trade. This was common knowledge.

What is your conspiracy theory here? Nobody is denying that slavery existed, that it was an atrocity, and that it should be taught in schools.
