Most of my girlfriends' "numbers" have been higher than mine. I'd guess 3x on average.

I can be shy and reserved when approaching women, which has certainly cut down my number. And I am attracted to spontaneous, free spirited women with great street smarts and could have easily had whatever "number" they wanted. (and still can) One was a sex worker, another told me on first date "Jason I'm a Hedonist," etc.

Whatever my other flaws, I never felt threatened or emasculated by this. And I kept getting asked, "Are you SURE you're okay with my lifestyle?" because it has turned out to be a problem for many of their ex-boyfriends in the past.
