Loved the article. I think we men are simple creatures, so most of us don't analyze the "why" very much. But, we do like feeling like the King, and there are few gestures on earth more satisfying and enjoyable than our queen bowing down and worshipping our manhood as her hero.

If a girlfriend won't do this for me, I view it as a red flag indicating she doesn't like me after all, and quickly lose interest in the connection.
