It does not matter if they have a profile beyond their speakership. If somebody is invited & scheduled to speak, and a bunch of bigots crusade to prevent that person from speaking, that fits the textbook definition of "Silencing."

And not everybody who is silenced has other means to fall back on. Bret Weinstein, a professor and a liberal leftist at that, was pressured to resign his tenured professorship, ruining his career in the process.

So this nonsense about "Silencing is a myth" is pure BS.
