Inflation started creeping up AFTER Biden was President for a month. Until then, in the thick of the pandemic, inflation was under control. Last, there are countries which did not hit the US's 9% (in reality it was much higher than that) number.

Re: the economy. I thought Trump got us out of the pandemic recession quite quickly. I hate how he did it, but that is another matter. I will agree that GHWBush did not steward the economy well, nor did GWBush. And the Clinton/Gingrich partnership (stalemate?) was probably the best combination to let the Internet proliferate and create maybe the greatest boom we will ever experience. But I certainly think Reagan was better for the economy than Carter, although that does pre-date my awareness.

Last about Taxes. Yes, Trump did look out for his buddies. I am not sure about his middle class tax cuts being temporary. If you have any links then I am happy to open them. But truth is in the eye of the storyteller, so I am not sure what is the source data for this nor how to interpret that in an objective and non-partisan way.
