In my observation...men feel very little reason or motivation these days to be good men. There are many horror stories of men getting burned by women, three examples being gold-digging, reputational risk, and custody inequality.

It WOULD be nice for more men to actually give a shit about becoming a gentleman. Unfortunately, and my gf was just speaking with her gf's about this today... most women prefer toxic masculinity assholes over nice guys. And until men get a compass on how to actually "get the girl" without being a toxic asshole, men will continue gravitating toward either toxicity, or saying fuck it and playing computer games.
