Immigrants can loosely be divided into two categories: Legal and Illegal. I agree that Legal immigration is great for the country, and IMO it should be expanded - which is not a popular Republican opinion. The whole immigration framework needs reform, which is another whole thread.

But from Republicans' view, Illegal immigration is the problem. And USA's illegal immigration policy really has nothing to do with Equatorial countries' climate change.

I understand that conditions in Latin America are dire. I personally love Latin America. I'm also as Green as they come. But environmental practices are not going to stop bad leadership such as Maduro in Venezuela, which is the cause for equatorial countries' dire conditions.
