I guess one question is, what investment vehicle can carry a person there.

Can DCA'ing into Bitcoin, still with its bad news this week? Can the S&P 500? Can Real Estate? Take 1/3 of each? There is so much uncertainty that even frugal consistent savers/investers, seem to be taking a chance.
