I enjoy your articles but this is not my experience. I have put things like "life partner" and "looking for something serious" in my text. And I get the same old responses. What do you do, where do you live, and unmatch after 4 hours if I don't respond right away. From people who say they want a life partner themselves.

I agree with the crudeness and classiness of some men on these apps. To them it is a kick, to have enough power than they can evoke a reaction out of somebody else. That is a very long story in itself.

But it is very difficult for a man to actually find something of substance, even on Hinge and Bumble.
