I don’t know that Bernie was more likeable than Hillary. Bernie Sanders is an old white man. Who happened to make inroads among the young — certainly the most since Obama.

But “Bernie Bros”’ mysoginistic behavior towards Hillary supporters, later Elizabeth Warren supporters, and women in general, was completely unrestrained and even unacknowledged by Bernie himself. Black voters were overwhelmingly more in favor of Hillary, and Joe Biden, than Bernie. Last, gun control advocates had no friend in Bernie, as he might as well be a card-carrying member of the NRA how much he talks about gunowners rights.

Not to mention, suburban workers who DO believe in Bill Clinton capitalism as we know it. Bernie would have lost them huge.
