I come close to the kind of man you describe, I never got with the right person, and finding the right woman in her 30s would be great.

That said, the main challenge I have in NYC is women in their 30s that you describe in the positive way (wanted to focus on career, would make a great partner, physically and personality compatible), still feel they have many options.. maybe they do, or maybe it's unreasonably high standards.

In my experience, the whole process turns into 20 questions right at the start (what do you do? where do you live? why haven't you been married yet? why aren't you more successful than you are? etc.) and I absolutely hate that. For me it's a huge turnoff.
