I'm actually interested in Daman and will read up more on him. And, if I resonate, a lot more. But it has to be mass adoptable - which presents its own set of logistical challenges.

As for the other points - I don't know if Fuedalism is tipping back to worse. I'm just not aware of any other time in my life, when things were "less Fuedal" than they are today. 2000s with Bush and his oil/contractor war buddies? 1990s with Clinton/Gingrich unlikely alliance to cut off the old left? 80s? 70s? 60s? USA's biggest union run by Jimmy Hoffa? I just don't see any phase of USA that is less than today. And that's just the USA.

3. There have to be a variety of options. If I want to live in a private apartment, in center of New York city, that I can have maintained without having to fix my own toilets, that I can move out of after 2 years without a lot of paperwork...I should be allowed to do that. Same if I want a house on stilts in the jungles of Colombia. Again Daman houses might be a huge step forward but utopia cannot be forced upon the people by law and police.
