Hi Robert,

First, thank you for your response.

Second, you do bring up some good points. The electoral college is out of date, yes the last time the GOP won Presidential popular vote was 2004 and then before that 1988, and gerrymandering is one of the worst implementations of our Republic.

That said. Democrats just don't have the State level political infrastructure necessary to win elections. Despite how many people "claim" to be Democrat-leaning. Do liberals vote locally? No. Do conservatives vote locally? Yes. So GOP is going to have a state edge. There is no conspiracy behind this. In fact the Democrats are to blame. Democrats would rather resort to top-down messaging, sitting on their thrones, than go out and knock on doors. Which is why Obama in 2008 was so refreshing. He beat the Democratic throne machine, in every way that is possible. But Hillary Clinton learned nothing, and returned to top-down messaging in 2016 - which is part of why she lost rust belt states.

As for the rest... I detest the Democrats' official strategy of "put out stories of the GOP becoming unhinged and voters will flock to us." It doesn't work. It didn't work in 2000, 2004, or 2016, and it barely worked in 2020 only because of how much an abomination Trump was.

Now with Roe v Wade repeal, leftist protesters are literally screaming at Democrats: "DO something!!" So Democrats organize a press conference and talk about how this is an outrage. That's kind of my point.
