Back in 2017, I heard a lot of buyers remorse.

I really tried to give Kamala the benefit of the doubt. She did well during the debate. I liked her idea to promote small businesses. But... she never was able to articulate what she was going to do. Saying "it's on the website" when the website had very few specifics, is not enough. Her answer to every question was always, "But Donald Trump!" and her tendency to give 4-7 minute answers instead of being clear and concise, were all problems for me.

I ended up voting Cornel West, and he was never going to win, but like you I felt ecstatic with my choice.
