A lot of women think a higher number is a dinged-up credit score. A lot of men think a higher number is a trophy case.

It doesn't have to be this way, and it shouldn't be this way, but that is our social conditioning.

I used to feel ashamed my number was as low as it was, but then after a 1-2 year stint of, well making up for lost time, I no longer really cared.

Now I'd rather have a conversation of real substance that goes nowhere, than cheap shallow laughs and drinks that lead to a feeling of I could have taken care of myself better than this.
