A few thoughts:

- Ron DeSantis would at least make things interesting in a. GOP primary. There are some pretty big Trump ex-backers, like the Citadel billionaire, who say it is time to move on. Many things happen behind the scenes. Trump winning the nomination is not a sure thing

- For Trump veep, my money would be on Sarah Huckabee Sanders. They had great chemistry and he never (during or after) had anything bad to say about her. Trump does not like Nikki Haley, maybe because she's a threat. He has no dirt on her, but I'm saying Never on Haley.

- Biden/Harris would lose, even to Trump/MTG. Biden won in 2020 for only one reason: a united front to get rid of Trump. But what has Biden done: Inflation, a recession, a bolder Putin, a bolder Xi... at least Trump with his bombastic and unhinged rhetoric, kept Putin at bay by sucking his d* and trade war fought China to a stalemate. Biden has lost most independents, and Biden-friendly Republicans.

- The Democrats are spineless and nobody would dare challenge Biden/party orthodoxy in 2024. Certainly none of the other 2020 candidates. At least the GOP will get their grievances out in public.

Net net, Biden and K. Harris were short term useful to beat Trump, but are current term and long term terrible for the Democrats.
